I’m Marcelo, I’m a Site Reliability Engineer. Currently based in Chicago, IL 🇺🇸 but I lived in Ireland 🇮🇪 for ~7 years (Sláinte! 🍺) and I’m originally from Brazil 🇧🇷 .

🎓 Msc. in Enterprise Application Development at LYIT (Letterkenny Institute of Technology, Letterkenny, County Donegal, Republic of Ireland).

I like to blog, but not as much as I like Ferrets and Comic Books.

• 🔭 I’m currently working as a Site Reliability Engineer at Fetch Rewards 🧾🧾🧾.
• 🔬 Previously, I was the Tech Lead of CI/CD Pipeline Engineering at the University of Chicago (working with Biological Sciences Systems).
• 🐦 I used to work at the TCC (Twitter Command Center) as an IMOC (Incident Manager On-Call) 🐣.
• 🐝 I have also worked at IBM as a Tech Lead of a Cloud Deployment Automation team (converting, packaging and integrating on-prem applications).
• 🌱 I’m currently learning a lot about Multi-Region / Distributed architectures.
• 👯 I’m looking to collaborate on Observability.
